Mary Nell, a lifelong artist, is proud to introduce her new line of handmade pottery. Each piece incorporates cheerful, vibrant stains hand painted on a white glazed coating on a terra cotta base. Mary Nell Jackson Pottery offers plates, bowls, picture frames, chip and dip sets, and cheese trays with knives. And, just in time for the holidays, ornaments that can also be used as gift tags! Everything is meant to be mixed and matched. Each piece is an individual work of art sure to bring cheer to any space!
Mary Nell Jackson is an artist in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Fine Arts. Her specialty has been watercolor paintings, and they have been part of the Richmond community for many years. Mary Nell has had a painting in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts auction and a design chosen for a Meals on Wheels holiday card. She also has a piece on permanent exhibit at the Tuckahoe Library. Now Mary Nell is bringing her unique and colorful style to Mary Nell Jackson Pottery. She learned the craft from longtime designers Annie Laurie and Steve Turner. She will be selling her pottery locally as well as exhibiting at several major shows across the country. Look for her signature style in Richmond and beyond!
